DANBURY, CT – As the ECAC Esports fall season comes to an exciting conclusion, do not miss the chance to tune into this year’s playoffs powered by LeagueSpot.  Play-ins will begin Saturday, November 7th, 2020 for all game titles including, FIFA, Hearthstone, Madden, Overwatch, VALORANT, Rocket League, Fortnite, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

ECAC Esports added 19 new institutions for the 2020 fall season and many schools will be joining in the upcoming spring 2021 season. The ECAC is excited to offer more values to schools across the country as the growth continues each semester from the number of teams competing to the different games being offered. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is officially the ECAC’s most popular game title with over 64 teams out of the 300 teams throughout the league.

“We are thrilled to kick off the playoffs this week and crown eight different National Champions. I am proud to be a part of the ECAC Esports as we continue to provide competition within our community during these difficult times,” stated Lydia Fister, Director of Esports.
